I've had some questions about In Kelly's Corner on B&N so I thought I'd post here in addition to answering comments/PMs/emails.
I've exchanged multiple phone calls, emails, etc with B&N's customer support since Thursday and have no joy. This seems to be a common problem for books published via their Nook Press self-publishing platform over the last week. :/
I uploaded the book again Saturday afternoon and hopefully (!) this time it won't get stuck in whatever weird glitch B&N is having on their self-publishing platform. I purposely uploaded IKC 2 days early to avoid this scenario but...
I feel absolutely terrible that Nook readers can't buy a copy of the book via B&N. One of the reasons I chose to indie publish (in addition to traditionally publishing with the so-called Big 6 out of NYC) was to have more control over my intellectual property and to offer books to readers at reasonable prices and without geographical restriction or delay. To have IKC stuck at B&N is, like, so freaking frustrating!
If you don't mind side-loading onto your Nook, you can buy an epub at Smashwords, Kobo or All Romance eBooks.
Again--huge apologies for the delay and fingers crossed some sort of magic happens today at B&N. The second the link is live at B&N, I'll share here and on Facebook and Twitter.
