I wish I had an easy answer to that one. I finally (!) managed to speak to a real, live person earlier today (instead of trading emails with customer service reps), and we think (hopefully!) that we've figured out why Nikolai 2 wouldn't drop. The book has been been caught in an endless loop of draft/in review since late last Thursday.
I can only imagine how frustrating this has been for you! I seriously considered just putting all the formats up here on my website and giving the book away for free, but I know that quite a few readers don't like to or know how to side-load books onto their devices. So I'm going to release the book at 99 cents and keep it there for a while so that everyone who wants a copy can get one cheaply and without any hassle.
I want to do whatever I can to make up for the stupidly long (and frustrating!) wait for this sequel. This is a *long* book, by the way. It's actually longer than any other in the series at 120K words (twice as long as Sergei 2) and has 30 chapters.
I held off on hitting publish at Kobo, iBooks, Smashwords, ARe until I knew what the problem was. Now that we seem to have the kinks worked out, I expect the book to (finally!!!!) be on sale at Amazon, B&N, Kobo, Smashwords, ARe on Monday. I'll do a new post with all the links here, Facebook, Twitter and in my newsletter as soon as I have them.
(Also I did notice that In Kelly's Corner had three different prices available at B&N for a short while this week. That was a distributor issue that cropped up when the book went free. There should only be one FREE version available now instead of the $3.99, $2.99 and FREE options.)
